There are more people on this list whose remember MS-DOS days :-) .
My config.sys contains himem.sys , but it only enables HMA AFAIR it is
64kb block after first 1Mb.
In order to enable UMB you have to install emm386 :-) , but under VBox
emm386 loads only without scanhigh switch .And gives very
small UMB region.
