If it is not too late, try editing your VirtualBox.xml (when VirtualBox
is not running!) and look for the line starting '<DHCPServer ...'  If
that line ends with 'enabled="True"/>' or 'enabled="False"/>', change
that to 'enabled="1"/>' or 'enabled="0"/>' respectively.  (Back up the
file first, just in case...).
