Yes. If mounting an iso, you need to register the iso image first with virtualbox. I don't remember the exact openmedium new syntax for doing this, and don't know if the old syntax still works in the newest version of virtualbox. Then, you want something like: vboxmanage controlvm vm_name -dvd path_to_iso If you want to mount a real cd-rom, you'd do something like: vboxmanage controlvm vm_name -dvd host:full_path_to_cd-rom_device Hth.
