Hi,

I found no solution how to attach ISO through VB, therefore I went dirty way
and manually attached ISO under Linux, send files to guest and installed from
folder. The problem got resolved at 'shared folder' level, and thanks all for
pointing out my mistake not looking at manual regarding Guest Additions ...

However, I do not understand why VB is not able to attach and present ISO
contents. Maybe I need to reinstall to the newest version of VB as Guangxu
advised.

2 Bruce MacArthur:
I have send the technical details, but it was in threat before
(http://vbox.innotek.de/pipermail/vbox-users/2009-August/006962.html). It is VB
ver. 2.2.4 r47978 under RH Enterprise 5 (host) and Windows XP (SP3). Also, I do
not know why threads were messed up...

2 Jochen Roderburg :
Look at all threads: Yes - I did before exactly as described in "4.2.1.1
Mounting the Additions ISO file" many times. Trying one more time does not help.
The outcome is the same - ISO is not attached and is not accessible (neither to
host or guest OS). That's why I was cribbing that ISO is 'not attached' in my
"Devices" dialog window. I have found no solutions or help at this point.

With best
Arturas
