Several VBox versions ago, I too tried to test Oracle RAC with OCFS2
but I ran into the same problem as you. I (unfortunately) had to use
VMWare.

I cannot see problem you stumble upon . Virtual machine is like real .
You don't want to attach one virtual disk image to two simultaneously
running virtual machines . It's not possible in real world too :-) .
Virtual disk is visible in guest OS as special device ,and export it
should be pretty easy or I'm wrong :-)
