I agree with Luis. Does the VM crash if uTorrent is NOT running?
It could also be tied to resource limitations of the host machine. I would stop uTorrent and ensure stability without it running. If the VM stabilizes - scale back the uTorrent bandwidths. It also may be worthwhile to make sure the VMs memory and system configuration doesn't exceed the host's ability to serve. Maybe uTorrent stresses the VM by consuming all the CPU and memory on Windows XP. Check Windows and VirtualBox messages logs to keep on eye on uTorrent. You can also try to set up uTorrent by limiting the bandwidth, number of connections, etc., in order to avoid crasing your VM.
