We'd like to use the pre-compiled build of Virtualbox on OS X for commercial purposes. The personal use license doesn't apply in our case. Where can we buy an appropriate license?
In Sun's web shop, theres is only an "Enterprise" entitlement. According to the Terms and Conditions, this entitlement does not actually exist, so the license falls back to evaluation only. We need a "Commercial" entitlement, it seems, but it's not offered in the web shop. I wrote to the UK Licensing Center to ask about this discrepancy, but have only received an odd auto-reply which instructs me to resend my request if I haven't received a response after two business days. (Huh?) Any assistence in resolving this would be appreciated. If anything else fails, I guess we can still take the GPL edition and compile it ourselves (we only need the OSE feature set anyway). Initially, this looked like more work than getting a license to use the non-GPL binaries. -- Florian Weimer <[email protected]> BFK edv-consulting GmbH http://www.bfk.de/ Kriegsstraße 100 tel: +49-721-96201-1 D-76133 Karlsruhe fax: +49-721-96201-99 _______________________________________________ vbox-users mailing list [email protected] http://vbox.innotek.de/mailman/listinfo/vbox-users
