Hi folks,

On my new PC with a preinstalled windows
I have installed linux and now have
a dual boot system.

Because the switching from one os
to the other one necessitate a reboot
I decided to use virtualbox on linux
for starting my other os (windows).

I read the relevant part of the documentation (section 9.10)
but it is at some points not so clear to me
(say I'm a little bit confused!).

Can somebody help me to do the right thing?

I have the following partition layout (in linux terminology):

/dev/sda1 --+                +-- C: drive
            +--> windows -->-+
/dev/sda2 --+                +-- D: drive

/dev/sda3 --+              +-- /boot
            +--> Linux -->-+
/dev/sda4 --+ +-- physical volume of system vg

system vg contains file systems (swap, /, /tmp, /opt, /usr, ...).
I'm using Grub as boot manager.

A help is very much appreciated!

Regards
Nik
