Hi just installed Virtualbox 3.0.12 on Opensolaris and installed FreeBSD 8
as a guest.

On the solaris host we have couple of zones using internal addresses:

vnic0: flags=1000843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 9000 index 3
        inet 127.1.0.1 netmask ffff0000 broadcast 127.1.255.255
        ether 2:8:20:d1:94:8b
vnic0:1: flags=1000843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 9000 index 3
        zone nohup
        inet 127.1.0.2 netmask ffff0000 broadcast 127.1.255.255
vnic0:2: flags=1000843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 9000 index 3
        zone irkmaffia
        inet 127.1.0.3 netmask ffff0000 broadcast 127.1.255.255
vnic0:10: flags=1000843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 9000 index
3
        inet 127.1.0.10 netmask ffff0000 broadcast 127.1.255.255

I configured the Freebsd using bridged interface to vnic0. I assign
127.1.0.5 manually to the em0 freebsd device and 127.1.0.10 as the def gw.

I cant ping anything from the freebsd even tho the interface is up and
running according to ifconfig.

If i choose NAT, it is working fine.

Regards,
Istvan
