Here is the scenario:
Boot Camp is not letting me partition my hard drive, so I used Disk Utility
instead.
I unmounted the Boot Camp partition
Changed permissions: sudo chmod 777 /dev/disk0*
I then created the rawvmdk file using: sudo VBoxManage internalcommands
createrawvmdk -rawdisk /dev/disk0 -filename win7test.vmdk -partitions 3
I am using the vmdk file (not sure what use the -pt.vmdk file is) as the
hard disk.
I installed windows onto this hard disk through VirtualBox (sudo VirtualBox)
I did not have a CD or USB key - I had bought the iso version of Windows 7).

Now I cannot boot into windows by setting the disk as my startup disk

Your help will be greatly appreciated.
