The worst situation is: if you have fullscreen(ed) guest, you have to issue (Ctrl + Alt+ Backspace) to get your host usable by re-login.

What do you mean by "guest in grey"? The dimmed picture shown when the VM is paused? Without much more detailed information it's impossible to help you. Can you dig out the log file corresponding to such a situation? You can use the right mouse button menu on the VM in the "VM selector" window.

This issue can happen even without firefox running. there seems to be a "walk around"(at least the guest can then back under control for another while):
- minimize guest window and then maximize the guest window.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Michael

Hi,

I am running Opensolaris build_127 as host, my VirtualBox is 3.0.12-r54655.
When I navigate Internet with firefox, the XP guest always turn to GREY,
and then I lost guest control through mouse and keyboard. Once it
happen, I have to reboot guest. Is that known issue?
