Please provide more information. Include samples from your logs, and
perhaps the vchkpw startup script. Are these virtual domains, or
/etc/passwd users?
Initially, it sounds like either vchkpw is no longer your POP server, or
maybe your /var/qmail/control/ files aren't setup right anymore.
