I have my mail system set up using MySQL for authentication. Domains are
set up in individual tables. MySQL stores tables as UNIX file names, so it
seems that ~256 characters would be the limit.
Today, I tried to add a virtual domain to the server using the vadduser
program. Afterwards, users could not authenticate anymore. When the domain
was removed, everything works fine now.

The domain is csratestingandengineering.com

By the way, touch csratestingandengineering.com places the filename on the
filesystem with no truncation.

Any ideas?

John
