Hi Iain,

I think he is quite busy... at least he was last time I talked to him. It
is very convenient to use his method (external config file) rather than
using pre-configured settings. Ken Jones refuses to work with him on these
changes for some reason. We are currently using his packages from the
4.9.x line, and are eager to move to the 5.0 line. We don't use the mySQL
module already so that won't be a problem.

We're most concerned with the upgrade process from 4.9.x to 5.0. I've seen
some horror stories in the vchkpw mail list concerning upgrading, and
wonder if you've done any work to try and smooth it out as much as
possible.
