I added a new configuration parameter, Storage::Filename, which if defined will 
cause the
vusage daemon to write a file containing basic information about system users 
and storage
at shutdown.  When the daemon starts up, it will look for this file, and if 
it's there, it
will skip the stage one load, reporting the information contained in the data 
file to any
clients until the disk is polled for changes.

These changes can be found in the 5.5 branch under Subversion on SourceForge.
