Hi all,
This is our plan to start migrating code to ASF. We're just
finishing up VCL
v2.0. It is in production on some of our management nodes. Once we
have it
in production on all of our management nodes and feel that its running
smoothly, we'll check the code in to the ASF SVN repository. v2.0
is a major
restructuring of the vcld code so that it is very modular. This
allows
others to contribute code much more easily. We expect to do the
check-in in
the early part of next week.
After that, we have a smallish set of features to add to get to a
2.1 release.
We plan to do all of that work within the ASF framework. Hopefully,
that
release won't take too long to get together so that it can be
released in the
early part of January.
Josh
