Suggest that there should be a discussion of Aaron's issues in a separate thread. Just want to note ASF protocols for release votes. Release votes are majority approval with 3 PMC +1's (http://www.apache.org/foundation/voting.html#ReleaseVotes). Technically, there aren't veto's. However, most release votes are unanimous decisions. And most communities would carefully consider any -1 from a committer/pmc member. --kevan
