Hi, In ubuntu you have to run grep /var/log/syslog and grep /var/log/messages
Another way to monitor what happening in your system is to open separate new terminal and run tail -f /var/log/syslog , and in the previuos terminal start vdr with /etc/init.d/vdr restart. Now you can see what is wrong with your vdr configuration. Good luck, Yarema marti...@embl.de написав(ла): > Hi Klaus, > > /var/log/vdr.log doesn´t contain any info regarding problems with channel > s.conf > I start vdr with -l 3 > > dmesg |grep vdr > shows nothing > _______________________________________________ vdr mailing list vdr@linuxtv.org http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/vdr
