Dan Kenigsberg has submitted this change and it was merged. Change subject: vm: clock: always use rtc timer ......................................................................
vm: clock: always use rtc timer We should always use the <timer name='rtc' tickpolicy='catchup'/> attribute. It was removed only because of a misunderstandment of the libvirt docs. <timer name='rtc' tickpolicy='catchup'/> is actually needed for Windows guests as well. It provides the guest with time drift fix that is particularly required on loaded servers.
