sampling: HostStatsThread as periodic operation This patch extracts the actual host sampling code from HostStatsThread into a new helper class, which is made conform to the Task/Periodic interface. The new HostSampler code is moved under the periodic infrastructure. Finally, HostStatsThread is removed.
