Patch Set 5: I would prefer that you didn't submit this Hello, I use nested kvm and the hardware detection works just fine, why shouldn't this work with other hypervisors? plain qemu: add the following at command-line: -cpu core2duo,+vmx And even if is not, I don't think that placing a file at host before bootstrap in these debug cases is something that worth the extra complexity.
