Hi,

If you're on the dev list, you might have happened to notice I had a bit of a
marathon today slogging through the JIRA issues.

I went through every issue and assigned them version 1.5, 1.6, or 2.0. 1.5 for
all outstanding bugs and well-defined issues with code. 1.6 for more minor
improvements. 2.0 for backwards incompatible longer term ideas. (and an
"unscheduled" list for items that are currently not well-defined, belong to
Tools, or belong to DVSL).

Take a quick look at the 1.5 list. There's 49 issues. Mostly nagging little
bugs that have been around far too long. If you're feeling adventurous - pick
a bug and gnaw at it. A number of the issues have bits and pieces of code
already present (or suggested approaches). To commit we need a patch,
verification that the patch solves the problem, and confirmation that "ant
test" continues to work.

Appreciate any help. I'm optimistic about a 1.5rc1 release before December's
ApacheCon. If lots of people pitched in, we could do a full 1.5 by then.

Best,
WILL
