Hi, I'm cleaning up the contrib directory, as per VELOCITY-400. This was sparked by a user who asked about the IntelliJ templates. While I appreciate the original contribution, with no docs and no community support this code doesn't belong in the svn build. Such items I'm moving to the Wiki. The same for items that are simply useful but arbitrary bits of example code, like Christoph Reck's StdErrLogSystem.
There's a few experimental items that seem a little more substantial, mostly by Geir. I'm thinking of renaming the contrib directory "experimental" and keeping the TemplateValidator, LocalDirective, VelTag and a couple others. These are items that might eventually move into the main source tree. How does this seem? (and if you have code in contrib, let me know if you mind it moved to the Wiki). Thanks, WILL
