The main problem here is our entwined JavaCC dependency that cannot be
untied. I tried doing this in Dec and ended up breaking the
interface. We won't change that in the 1.x cycle. In the (vaporware)
2.x, I'm thinking about using a different parser generator. antlr
comes to mind. Oh, if I only had time... :-)
