*Role/Title : DB2 Architect Location : Denver, CO Duration : 10 Months Rate : $75/hr on C2C * Required skills: Experience in designing and tuning DB2 v9.x databases. Ability to Integrate IBM LDAP into the existing security infrastructure. Must have knowledge and experience working with IBMs WebSphere MQ series and DB2 v9.x. Must have Bull DBSP knowledge working with a DB2 environment. Preference will be given to candidates who have knowledge of the ACJIS, NCIC, and ACIC networks. Experience with enterprise integration projects, databases, messaging, data transfer and update between services on networked servers. Experience with user defined functions, directory services, security controls and functions, and stored procedures. Job Duties: Develop an Operational Data Store in a DB2 v9.x (database) with IBM AIX Operating System from a previously completed Data Base Schema & Interface design. DB2 database tuning along with benchmarking scenarios. Develop a custom continuous interface from JMS to an IBM AIX DB2 v9.x environment using DBSP. Perform other configuration, and installation work on the ODS that may be required to complete the specified custom interface for DBSP. Ensure integration requirements are reviewed and approved. Assist with performance tuning which may include architected enhancements that will lead to an optimized platform. Maintain communications with other members of the project team.
