Project Description:

Multi-Project Kronos development activity in support of Workforce Central
Timekeeping, Retail Scheduling and Attendance. The first project is related
to on-going support activities related to the recent payroll conversion and
the latter two are new development work.



Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Kronos Work Force 5.0 Application Production Support

• Act as a Primary contact for business end users.

• Responding to issues and following up with customers on a timely manner
with solutions

• Debug production issues and interface issues

• Notify the appropriate IT Area after identifying the issue and work with
internal teams to provide solutions in a timely manner

• Work with IT Teams in providing solution to Production Support Issues

• Work with vendors and opening trouble tickets and follow up in resolving
Production Issues

• Production Incident Management and Documentation

• Manage and Improve System Performance

• Troubleshoot Problems

• Document and Manager System Configuration and Changes

• Mentor other Kronos developers

• Work on special projects as required

SKILLS   Skill

1) Kronos Technical and Application Architecture Expert Required

2) Kronos WFC 5.0/6.0 Expert Required

3) Kronos WFC Data Models Expert Required

4) Kronos WFC Connect Expert Required

The candidate should have the following skills and experience:

• Strong knowledge of Kronos Technical and Application Architecture

• Strong experience and experience with Kronos Work Force Central, 5.0+
preferable

• Strong knowledge of WFC Data Models

• Strong experience with Workforce Connect

o Files and Folder Structure of Workforce Connect

o Workforce Connect Runtime Utility

o Variables and Calculations

o Lookup Tables

o Kronos Sources and Outputs

o Processing Order of Workforce Connect

o Multi Step Interfaces

o Batch Processing for Output files

o Imports

• Exceptional SQL skills (Oracle preferred)

• Strong knowledge of Kronos’ interaction with its corresponding HR/Payroll
system(s)

• Strong familiarity with:

o Labor Levels

o Labor Accounts

o Pay Codes

o Work Rules

o Holiday and Overtime Rules

o Wage Calculations

o Access Profiles

o Display Profiles

o Accruals

o Accrual Profiles

o Email and Workflow Notifications

• Exposure to Record Manager

• Strong familiarity with Kronos API and XML

• Understanding of Data Collection Manger Setup, Configuration and
Troubleshooting

o Configuring, Initialize, and Update Terminals

o Configure, Troubleshoot Pay Code Edits, Totals, Account and Job Transfers

o DCM Event Manager

o Use DCM Log Files for Troubleshooting

o Resubmitting/Deleting Invalid Transactions

• Create and Troubleshoot HyperFind Queries

• Create and Troubleshoot Genies

• Create and Troubleshoot Report Engines and Reports

• Work with Business and Development Team in improving and tuning
Reports/Queries

• Troubleshoot Problems

o Review the system information to check the current status

o Review the log files

o Review reports on system settings

• General Project Management skills

• Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills – written and
oral

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
