.NET Developer with Database development Needed

Job Description: We are seeking a web application and relational
database development professional with solid Microsoft ASP.Net and Microsoft
SQL Server development skills. This individual will assist with requirements
validation, system design, custom development and system testing of a new
system, facilitate user acceptance testing of the system, and thoroughly
document the solution, enabling a seamless transition of the final solution
to Maintenance and Support staff.
Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Duties & Responsibilities include
the following.
. Understand and analyze the current drafts of requirements and proposed
design for the proposed database and web application. Validate assumptions
and all data relationships and constraints, as well as rules. Validate final
report products/outputs
. Design the solution
. Develop the solution, perform appropriate system/unit/performance testing
. Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
. Finalize maintenance, support and operational documentation
. Train, enable and transition the final solution to daily operations,
maintenance and support staff.
Qualifications: Experience
1. 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible work in project leadership,
team lead, systems analysis roles and related responsibilities.
2. 3 to 5 years of proven business analyst/system analyst skills.
3. 5 years experience in designing and developing relational databases,
demonstrated strengths with MS SQL Server
4. 5 years experience in designing and developing web applications, using
ASP.Net
Skills
1. Must have effective facilitation skills in requirements gathering.
Ability to express technical concepts to non-technical personnel. Ability to
drive towards consensus and reach agreement on concepts, processes, and
requirements.
2. Must have effective, proven writing skills. Must have ability to create
all necessary materials and project deliverables. Must have proficiency with
common technical writing & publishing tools; Microsoft Word, Excel & Visio.
3. Must have experience in all aspects of System Development Lifecycle
(SDLC), project management, change management disciplines, concepts, and
processes.
4. Ability to work independently and keep management adequately informed.
5. Must have clear, well-organized, independent thinking. Ability to define
clear root causes, effects, procedures or solutions is not always apparent
and the resulting decisions must be made carefully as impacts may touch
broad areas of Calpine. Therefore, candidate must have analytical skills and
judgment sufficient to summarize problems and possible solutions for review
with management. The candidate must have good judgment regarding when to
consult and seek guidance or approval prior to taking action.
