NEED Ariba- Java Developer: LONG TERM PROJECT
Location: Secaucus, NJ Duration: 12 months Project description: This project is the long-term AP Processing solution to replace the mid-term current state AP Request application. The objective is to create and deploy a new module in the current application with the functionality to process AP Invoices that will support the US firm's India operations as well as Dalian Far East Area processing. The application will be updated with the following functionality to process AP invoices: 1. Create a form for entering check requests. 2. Create required workflow (with customized E-mails.) 3. Select valid Vendors and request new Vendor set-up. 4. Handle Special Requests, Rush, and Record Only invoices. 5. Update security to filter user access to data based on BU and/or Area. 6. Perform currency conversions. 7. VAT processing 8. Multi-Language - allow the use of local character sets to input free form data. 9. Create interfaces from the client for Vendors and Currency tables and create a standard EDI feed AP Payments via the Global Interface System 10. Create reports to monitor/audit performance metrics The application or technology that the consultant would be working on: Ariba Invoice, Java, AML, Web servers, Application servers, Oracle database Description of day-to-day tasks Development and configuration of Ariba delivered software to meet technical and functional specifications including the creation or modification to eForms, workflow engine, and interfaces to the system. Technical environment: Ariba Buyer, Ariba Invoicing, JAVA, Oracle 10G, AML, WebLogic Technical Skills: 1. 5 years experience in Ariba Invoicing, JAVA. AML, Oracle 10G 2. 1 year experience in Ariba application upgrade to 9r1 and WebLogic 3. Formal technical training in Ariba implementation or support, preferably in Ariba Invoicing module and Ariba workflow implementation 4. BS in Computer Science or equivalent Soft Skills Required: Strong skills in . Written - to read, understand and document development and configuration changes . Communication - to highly collaborate with technical project leads and developer peers .
