Immediate need:3-6 months$ 60 an hour MAXSan Jose CAInterwoven EngineerThis candidate will be a member of a content management team that is responsible for establishing standards and providing oversight for consumers (projects & user base) of the various shared Interwoven services. The candidate works closely with content development staff and assists on those issues that are infrastructure related or that require additional expertise to resolve. This role requires a strong emphasis on content management and distribution using TeamSite & OpenDeploy in a mixed OS environment, as well as excellent communication skills.Required Skills (MUST possess these required skills to be considered)· 4+ yrs experience and support of these Interwoven technologies: TeamSite 6.7, OpenDeploy 6.1, MediaBin
· TeamSite - Implementing custom roles, menu options, workflows, templates - MUST HAVE
· OpenDeploy - Deployment configuration in n-tier architecture. Directory comparison, File List, Parameter, and reverse based deployments - MUST HAVE
· MediaBin experience - MUST HAVE
· Content Management experience
· Strong Perl CGI, XML, HTML, CSS, _javascript_, and MS ASP
· UNIX Shell scripting and administration with some Windows administration
· Senior technician with application installation, configuration, and troubleshooting experience.
· Candidate must be a team player who works and communicates well with technical and non-technical resources. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and posses the ability to work with limited direction while being highly productive
· Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Responsibilities· Recommends innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to provide market differentiation, efficiency improvements, and better user experience
· Ensures timely installation of application upgrades and patches; prepares system documentation; monitors system for acceptable performance and user accessibility; validates functionality of web links; automates routine work tasks to streamline efficiency
· Assesses the scalability of the content management infrastructure and develops new processes and standards to resolve complex technical issues
· Works on projects/issues of medium to high complexity requiring advanced knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments. Provides technical support to internal customers; troubleshoots complex problems and takes corrective action on a timely, effective basis.
· Completes proper documentation for security requirements, design specifications, system configurations, custom training materials, or project work plans
· Performs other duties as assigned
Preferred Skills· Experience and support of these Interwoven technologies: MetaTagger
· WebLogic - Application and Portal
· XSLT and .NET experience
· Database design and SQL knowledge with Oracle and MS SQL Server
· A working knowledge of J2EE technologies - Java, JSP
