Job Title : QA With Previous Mobile Experience
Location : Newyork City, NY
Duration : 6+ Month Contract

*Candidates with previous mobile experience - migrating manual to automated
with knowledge of DeviceAnywhere and QTP.*
*Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:*
Candidate will be responsible for testing of this customer deliverable
during every aspect of the product development process. As we are building
this product, the candidate will have to coordinate test cases, scripting,
and execution. As this product is one which will be delivered via mobile
platform, we are looking for candidates with experience with testing mobile
apps.
Candidate will have direct ownership of the bug process from the QA
standpoint. The candidate will also be responsible for providing various
reports on bug tracking and trending as the release process moves forward.
Testing of the application will include, but not be limited to data
validation, application installation, verification and conformation to specs
and UI testing. In addition, the candidate should be familiar with various
browsers (I.E. mostly but also Modzilla) and versions as well as a thorough
understanding of the delivery of applications through a various mobile
platforms.
*Education:* Candidate should have Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or
similar)
*Required Skills*
Candidate should be mid-level (3-5 years experience) NOT looking for entry
level candidates. They should have previous exp with Mobile Apps migrating
manual to automated. The mobile technology is brand new so no expectations
regarding previous specific application experience.
Candidates MUST be knowledgeable automating test cases using QTP {Quick Test
Professional} & DeviceAnywhere. We are looking for 3+ years with both QTP
and DeviceAnywhere. Also, they should have extensive knowledge/experience
with VB Scripting. Candidates should be have previous experience migrating
and coding with both QTP (VB Scripting) and DeviceAnywhere.
