Job Title :Business Analyst with Financial Planning
Location : Philadelphia,PA
Duration : 12 months Contract
Rate : Open
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to collaborate with a diverse client base of technical and
non-technical staff.
Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products.
Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of client's
organization and industry.
Ability to work well under time/deadline pressure.
Delivers informative, well-organized presentations.
Possesses understanding in the areas of application programming, database
and system design.
Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely
manner.
Maintain Quality Assurance on all deliverables.
Respond to ad hoc management reporting requests.
Other Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
Strong academic background (college degree preferred - Bachelor?s degree in
information systems, or other related field).
Min of 8 years experience, 4 to 6 years related experience in a systems
environment and/or related industry experience.
Strong analytical/problem solving skills and excellent organization skills
in interfacing with business users directly for gathering and documenting
requirements on moderate to complex business needs.
Experience in developing functional and system design specifications with
business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
Experienced in Financial Planning platforms with skills to develop
prototypes for requirements in Excel and other tools.
Practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software,
spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.
Ability to communicate effectively with business users and application
programmers and demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a team
environment
Strong knowledge/experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to keep information confidential
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Knowledgeable in UML techniques
