Business Analyst Location: Bridgeport, CT Duration : 6-12 Months Contract *Must have :* Recent experience working as a BA in Banking and have SQL, Data Mapping and SAS is a big plus. Lead and manage database development and delivery of strategic solutions working with external partner. Act as the central point of contact and business liaison responsible for gathering and understanding client needs, documenting business requirements and solution proposal. Evaluate incoming work requests provided from various internal clients. Manage and set the appropriate priorities with vendor based on business needs. *Deliverables:* Develop and maintain project plans; lead projects and/or sub-projects to coordinate completion of project deliverables and achieve implementation of data warehouse solutions. Manage and track project issues, key decisions, and coordinate issue resolution. Acquire in-depth knowledge of various business areas, such as Marketing, Risk and Business Development, effectively translate business needs into functional specifications. Help business areas to anticipate and define needs for future projects. Make recommendations to support project goals. Works with multiple business areas and partners to identify and prioritize requirements. Build, manage appropriate vendor relationships and service level agreements. Responsible for establishing and monitoring quality assurance processes on the daily/monthly updates of the database environment. Mentor other team members on business requirements definition and business analysis, and project management.
