Job Title: Senior Performance Test Engineer
Job Description:
· Run JMeter and Silk performance tests and gather metrics including system metrics
· Experience with java memory and CPU profiling and identifying bottlenecks.
· Good understanding of running JVMs in a Linux environment and OS and system tuning.
· Some Experience with system tuning and gathering OS (Linux) metrics.
· Experience with JBoss App server.
· Understanding of java Garbage Collection behavior and various configurations available for that..
· Understanding java performance tuning and java performance characteristics in a multi-threaded environment.
· Remote debugging applications and identifying and troubleshooting issues.
· Some java Experience (to the extent of quickly making performance related changes to code for testing) will be helpful.
· Good understanding of performance, scalability and load testing and methodology used for that. various tests that need to be Run for each.
