*Job Description:*
Candidate will have excellent planning skills with at least 8 Years’
Experience. Candidate will become part of the SAP Basis planner team.
The candidates must have over 5 years of experience (Expert) in SAP Basis
Administration/SAP Solution Manager. Participates in SME business
communications to understand business requirements and apply experience.
She/he will participate in the design and development of SAP software
solutions based on client requirements. She/he will participate in the
Solution Manager Deployment program.
*REQUIREMENTS:*
- Plan/assign/explain activities for ITOC Basis team
- Plan upgrades, support packs, patches
- Coordinate upgrades, patches and MTPs with various IT teams
- Follow HPIT process, procedures>Minimum of 8 years’ experience in SAP
Basis administration & project planning/implementation
- BASIS experience across broad spectrum - many areas (not just 1 – e.g.
job monitoring, security, etc.)
- Must have upgrade/implementation experience.
- Must have played a key/lead role in SAP Basis projects: Upgrades,
installation and/or support packages implementations.
- Strong knowledge of UNIX
- Work with Business Analysts/Management to understand project scope,
project goals, product functionality, and desired features that define new
functionality for the software applications Communicate software solution
needs to software developers through appropriate design deliverables.
- Strong Knowledge of Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of Service guard
- Ability to lead/recommend and fine tune SAP systems for maximum
performance and stability
*Strong experience on the following areas: *
- SAP upgrades
- UC Conversions
- SAP SP’s, EHP’s, kernel patching
- DB/OS patching
- Strong understanding of Oracle and DB Optimizer, SQL tuning, etc.
- Language installs
- HW migrations
- DB refreshes
- SAP Security
*SOFT SKILLS:*
- Proficient in English with good communications skills
- Documentationskills
- Work with remote and multi-cultural teams
- Ability to independently trouble-shoot operational issues and solve
them
- Excellentplanningskills
- Ability to work remotely and in multicultural environment
