* Title: QA Analyst with JD Edward* * Location: Minneapolis | MN* * Start date: ASAP* * Duration: 6-9 Months * *Responsibilities:* *A contract QA Analyst is needed for one of our large Minneapolis based enterprise clients for a 6-9 month JDE migration project (Xe-9.0). * *Ideal candidate is someone that is able to quickly learn the business process and understands and is familiar with financial systems (AR/AP/GL) modules. * *You will be the lead QA on the project team with potential to work on additional projects depending on skillset and background. Someone who can work independently with a minimum amount of instruction - used to digging in and finding out what needs to be done. There are some tests written but this person will need to get going and dig in. * *Responsibilities:* *· Oversee the testing effort and testing process of all project testing phases. * *· Create and implement project test plans and provide estimates for testing efforts. * *· Identify and develop system test scenarios and associated data. * *· Coordinate system and regression test execution within define project timelines * *· Assist in UAT testing (log issues/defects, act as liaison between business analysts, users and development team - single point of contact for UAT testing activities) and review the work of other testers. * *· Facilitate testing meetings, summarize results, issue/defect reporting, maintain metrics and provide go/no go recommendation. * *Requirements:* *· Minimum of 6-8 years of QA experience.* *· Experience with financials systems modules (JDE Required) * *· Well-versed in testing methodologies and software process methodologies.* *· Ability to work independently with minimal instruction * *· A solid understanding of quality assurance as a part of the development process.
