Looking for an expert who is able to understand and take the lead with development of the new system. Financial industry experience is highly preferred, as this may play a role in the candidate’s ability to understand the proper functionality and overall goals of the migration. * *Primary responsibilities include developing internal Server applications in Java language; this developer has the opportunity to take responsibility for all phases of a development project and help formulate best practices. We develop in Java 6.0 on Unix/Linux; * *Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * *•Develop Server Application to provide support for trade floor * *•Involve in the architectural/framework design of the framework * *•Track, troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner. * *•Evaluate and prioritize development tasks for delivery to business in a professional and timely manner. * *•Gain a detailed understanding of client’s trading operation and provide high level of support and functional assistance to users. * *•Other technical tasks as needed for successful project completion. * *Position Requirements:* *•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * *•Minimum experience of 5 years of core Java experience. * *•Worked with spring 3.0.
