Must be able to write a user story* *Ability to operate in a “start up environment” – although McGraw is 100 years old, this new division in Boston acts like a start up. They’ve been here for about a year* *ecommerce, website, retail, CMS background – must be good with end user experience. Able to facilitate information with business and tech team* *5+ yrs as a BA* *Work with Multiple Business units – know the Product Owner, QA relationships, and UI importance * *Technical enough to understand and translate both sides business and functionality. Get detail and put into tech format for tech team. * *Day to Day : * *These BAs are part of the Content Team, helping to roll the 10 websites for shopping and the 300 websites for content all into one website. Right now, each business unit has their own site and stores and there is no place to market their contact. Over the next 18-24 months, they will be launching a unified ecommerce website for all end users to go and found out information and be able to purchase products. This is a global initiative, over multiple years.
