(Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis) * *1) Read and understand System Analyst requirements documentation and write Java code to support project details * *2) Consume User Interface visual designer documentation and program screens to match look and feel expectations * *3) Produce design documentation to document programming plans * *4) Fix defects identified by testing teams in a timely fashion * *5) Work closely with other developers in a team environment * *6) Self-starter necessary who is willing/able to dive into an older/complex code base for a 10 year old application, and make updates to long standing functionality that may not have any documentation from the original development years ago. * *What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities? * *1) Java / J2EE development skills * *2) Experience with both the Struts and Spring frameworks * *3) Experience with JSP / Javascript / CSS * *4) Experience with IBM RAD/RSA development environment.
