*Position Summary: *



looking for an experienced Documentation Expert to support multiple data
documentation initiatives in support of the internal and external APCD and
Case Mix data description documents.



The position requires a balance of technical knowledge of data and software
documentation along with strong project and task management.



The contract is for updating current documentation, recommendations for
future documentation software solutions and process recommendations for the
data management of content intended for final documents released to the web
and in print.





Responsibilities



1. Review Documentation Roadmap prepared by CHIA consultant in Spring 2014

2. Work with Office of Communications to develop IT style guide and
document templates, initially focused on MA APCD and CM User Guide

3. Deliver style guide, template, and process training to various business
groups affected by style changes

4. Reformat current MA APCD and CM Documentation Guides using new
templates, the HIT style guide and the documentation road map

5. Republish FY2013 CM User Guides to CHIA website (Case Mix files current
state)

6. Republish Release 3.0 MA APCD User Guides to CHIA website

7. Implement multi-draft business process to manage review and approval

8. Recommend software and other tools CHIA should procure related to
documentation

9. Define resources and schedule for implementation of document management
system

10. Create strategies for documentation content updates and product release
updates

11. Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, and milestones for
product documentation updates

12. Demonstrate strong organizational, presentation, and customer service
skills

Qualifications

1. Experience gathering/prioritizing business requirements

2. Ability to edit documents and produce document templates

3. Knowledge of document publishing applications (such as MS, Adobe, Apple)

4. Expertise in document storage utilities (familiarity with SharePoint,
Documentum, SalesForce, and similar enterprise management systems desired)

5. Experience in managing documents, securing documents, implementing
enterprise document systems, understanding how the regulations impact these
systems and leveraging the audit trail

6. Ability to assess document quality and implement immediate solutions to
improve documentation usefulness for internal and external users.

7. Experience with data dictionary tables and data submission instructions

8. Document management experience in health care, medical claims or
financial services preferred

9. Understanding of a start-up product with documentation needs changing
frequently

10. Minimum 5-10 years of documentation team management or IT project
document management system management

11. Minimum 3 years experience coordinating and/supporting IT product
release and descriptive documentation

12. Former local, state, federal government experience preferred

13. Experienced with data description and standard operating procedures for
a wide range of end users

14. Compatibility of document formats targeted to web, mobile and print
optimization experience desired
