Be able to identify monitoring gaps. · Insure proper escalation and notification for each project. · Troubleshoot and resolve Client Engagement Support issues. · Ability to create and document processes ranging from sever creation to proper response to alerts. · Handle day to day support activities that pop up and must be comfortable in working on production support incidents on a live call with several other support teams, making recommendations, escalating when necessary. · Create/manage existing shell scripting in the application. *Requirements:* · 7+ years of prior work experience in IT, including recent 3+ years of work experience with CentOS/RHEL in an enterprise (100+ server) environment. · Extensive experience in installing, configuring, administering, tuning, and troubleshooting complex Linux application installations · Extensive 24/7 Level 2 Support Experience in troubleshooting Production environments · Ability to respond to critical issues, manage critical trouble tickets and drive towards permanent resolutions. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. *Plus:* · Experience in migrating applications from development/test environments to production including customization. · Active participation in infrastructure architecture, such as hardware sizing, effort estimation and security. · Experience with complex Linux/Windows based environments.
