VMWare 5. 5. Scripting MULTI YEAR CONTRACT for a Storage Administrator / Storage Engineer who has Hardware System Administrator / Hardware Systems Engineer experience. Client would prefer candidates currently in Texas but will consider out of state candidates and interview via skype. A minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience is required, with at least 2-3 years in large scale server support. 5 most important skills are 6. HP Blades and Enclosures 7. Hitachi VSP 8. RedHat Linux 9. VMWare 10. Scripting 11. HP 3PAR is a plus – client will train on this if need be High skill level and experience is required for the following: Server support experience, including blades and enclosures (preferred platform: HP). SAN switch experience. Enterprise storage system experience (preferred Hitachi VSP and HP 3PAR) Medium skill level and experience is required for the following: VMware system administration experience (preferred Version 5.x). OS System Administration Skills (both Red Hat Linux and Windows). Network Administration Experience (related to firewalls, LAN, DNS, etc.) Low skill level and experience is required for the following: Scripting experience.
