You will help develop, enhance and apply technology to support these teams. This includes mostly proprietary platforms and some vendor products. You must be a strong technologist with solid senior level design skills that you can apply to developing tools/platforms in connection with investment portfolio research (including Quantitative Equity strategy back-testing), risk management analytics reporting, derivative trading strategies, pre-trade compliance rules engines, trading desk pre- and post- trade workflows, etc. *Core Qualifications:* -Strong academic background in a relevant field (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, etc.) - Masters preferred -Strong analytical, architecture and design skills -Full stack developer skills *-Python,* *AngularJS, and Javascript* skills required -*Strong Experience with SQL/NoSQL/Json data structures* -Strong Knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Programming -Good oral and written communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills *Extended Qualifications (pluses):* -*DevOps* experience with Jenkins or other CI tools -Quantitative, mathematical and programming skills -Programming background in C#, VB.Net, and general experience with the Microsoft stack -Familiarity with Global Fixed Income, FX, Equity and Derivative products and transactions -Solid understanding of financial market data and its vendor sources -Experience with an industry standard OMS/Compliance product such as Charles River, Bloomberg, Sentinel, etc -5-8 years of professional experience working in the Financial Services Industry preferably at an Investment Management firm *Responsibilities:* Working as part of a small team of developers and testers to implement quantitative research and decision support tools for portfolio managers (PMs). Working with head PMs to develop risk views, analytic reports, portfolio rebalancing capabilities; with head Traders on OMS processes (Bloomberg AIM and Charles River); with Risk Team on compliance rules engine extensions.
