*Job Title: Web /UI Designer * *Location: Rosemont, IL* *Start Date: Immediate* *Duration: 6+ Months Contract* *Responsibilities:* *Candidate should have 2+ years experience writing HTML, Javascript, JQuery, CSS as well as using the Adobe creative suite, in particular photoshop (3+ year experience) and Balsamiq (+3 years experience). Experience with JSF, Oracle ADF framework, Jasper report and iRise is a plus.* *Description:* This position is for an experienced Web designer NOT for a Java/J2EE developer. The Website Designer is primarily responsible for maintaining the consistency of brand standards - from marketing strategies through design and front end development. The Designer works closely with U.I. Architect, Business Analysts and Developers to design and create engaging and user-friendly interfaces to database driven web experiences. In order to be considered candidates must have a portfolio (please include the link to the portfolio in the candidate's resume). Candidate should have 2+ years experience writing HTML, Javascript, JQuery, CSS as well as using the Adobe creative suite, in particular photoshop (3+ year experience) and Balsamiq (+3 years experience). Experience with JSF, Oracle ADF framework, Jasper report and iRise is a plus. The User Interface Designer works closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts and Developers to design and create engaging and user-friendly interfaces. Must be a fast learner and eager to mentor less experienced team members. Feels comfortable in evolving in ambiguous situations. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field such as computer science OR significant equivalent experience.3+ years of experience designing web sites (eCommerce preferred). Proficient in Javascript, CSS, and HTML.
