OFFER *Job Responsibilities:* · Responsibility for overall *product* development leadership for *cloud portion* of Connected Services. · Provides overall project development leadership, coordination, and motivation for the design team through project completion. · Provides technical leadership in partnership with assigned software architects in breaking down system level requirements into software and software component requirements. · Ensures team successfully accomplishes stated project or functional goals and objectives. · Manages project schedule, cost, issues, and risks and ensure team meets objectives. · Communicates project schedule, cost, and development activities with team and management. · Coordinates, delegates and prioritizes development and functional activities. · Proactively manages critical path and open action items to ensure successful completion. · Ensures team compliance with appropriate customer requirements and processes. · Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and other statistical information. Qualifications: *Required Experience:* · Bachelor's degree in Software, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related Field. Minimum of five (5) years of developing software with object-oriented languages like Java, C++, or Ruby or RAILS, ideally in SOA applications. · Extensive knowledge about APIs. · Ability to design RESTful services and integrate with other data providers. Know when to use JSON or XML. · Experience with cloud platforms. AWS required.
