*JAVA / J2EE SOFTWARE ENGINEER* *LOCAL CANDIDATE NEEDED AS IT IS F2F AND HAS TO BE A CITIZEN. LOCATION: ASHBURN, VA DURATION: MULTI-YEAR *Perform systems engineering support and software development as needed for the AFSS system. This position will be responsible for any/all of the following: articulating user needs and requirements form high level user stories; developing the design for the user interface framework; developing client and server side components; designing web pages; analyzing and designing databases within an application; and working in an Agile Scrum environment. A strong knowledge of JAVA and J2EE, Web Services and internet-based applications is required. Perform integration of the components of the AFSS system and participate in the conduct of informal and formal testing of the AFSS system. The integration and testing of the AFSS system may include the preparation of test documentation, the development of test cases and test scenarios, the development of test tools and aids, execution of tests and documenting test results.
