*Cognos Developer* *Start Date: ASAP* *Estimated Duration/End Date: 4+ Months* *Location (On-site): Columbus, OH* *Project Role: IBM Cognos Developer* *Skills Required:* Mandatory Skills *• 4 Years of experience designing and developing Cognos (version 8.2 and above) reports using Report Studio, Analysis Studio and Active reports* • 8 Years of experience with SQL programming against an Oracle RDBMS on data warehouse or business intelligence projects. • 7 Years of experience with business intelligence tools including IBM Cognos • 5 Years of experience with the development and support using dimensional star schema based data structures including fact tables (commonly referred to as Kimball) *Role:* The Cognos developer will be *primarily involved in developing reports using Cognos Report Studio, and performing Unit testing This is primarily a coding position.* Candidate with STRONG exp/skills with Cognos Report Studio on DW or BI projects. Client is implementing a new claims, policy and billing system. This new implementation is shifting our data warehouse and reporting infrastructure from DB2/Hyperion to Oracle/Cognos. The nature of data is also changing, as data elements are changing purpose and semantics as part of the transition.
