*Duration: 3 Months * *Mode: Phone/Skype* *Visa-USC/GC* *Summary* *As a Business Analytics Administrator & Framework Development Support specialist you will responsible for installation, configuration, administration and maintenance of a business-critical Cognos product set in a 24x7 production environment. As a member of Enterprise Information (EIM) Management Program within Retirement, you will be working closely with clients internal and external to provide self-service business intelligence and key information needed to drive business outcomes. You will also be tightly aligned with your IT colleagues including DBAs, EIM stakeholders, infrastructure and software engineering scrum teams to deliver solutions across the Client’s Retirement landscape.* *Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities* · *Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by us to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to client* · *The I-Client philosophy and the Core Values of People Matter, Quality First and Integrity Always® should be visible in your actions on a day to day basis showing your support of our organizational culture.* · *Create and maintain installation documentation and architectural diagrams* · *Implement package deployments and troubleshoot package issues* · *Under general direction, devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering Cognos administration and/or cube and report generation* · *Coordinate with business user team building implementation plans* · *Research/analyse Cognos administrative functions and Cube and reports generation to maintain and increase performance* · *Monitor program execution for expected performance* · *Modify, install, and prepare technical documentation for Cognos applications* · *Monitor systems capacity and performance, plan and execute disaster recovery procedures* · *Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for Cognos* · *Identify, escalate and document production impact issues for the environment for business notification* · *Perform backup, upgrades, set up security roles and users, and troubleshoot by understanding the various log messages* · *Other Duties as Assigned.* *Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements * · *Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience* · *Excellent analytical skills* · *Excellent oral and written communication skills including active listening. Asking appropriate questions, clarifying information and writing clear, concise documents.* · *Administration experience using Cognos 10.x or higher* · *Modeling experience using Cognos Framework Manager* · *Design/Building cubes using Cognos Transformer 7 or higher preferably Transformer 8 or higher* · *Able to assist/support cube builds* · *Data warehouse experience* · *Ability to troubleshoot issues within Cognos 10.x* · *Experience in building metrics for managing the Cognos environment using metrics built from the logs or using a software product* *Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities* · *4+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence role, including data warehousing and business intelligence tools, techniques and technology* · *4+ years of experience in diving deep on data analysis or technical issues to come up with effective solutions* · *IBM Certified Administrator or IBM Certified Solution Expert preferred* · *Experience in data mining (SQL, ETL, data warehouse, etc.) and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets* · *Proven ability in looking at solutions in unconventional ways and the ability to innovate* · *Experience with Cognos Framework Manager developing and maintaining Cubes, Queries, and Reports* · *Plan and maintain upgrades, patches, and hot fixes for Cognos* · *Knowledge in Upgrading Cognos to newer versions* · *Experience with the IBM InfoSphere Datastage, Microsoft SSIS, Linux and SPSS a plus* · *Experience with Cognos customizations* · *Experience with relational databases: Sybase ASE, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL and others a plus* · *Experience with analytics platforms: Netezza, Sybase IQ and others a plus* · *Experience with NoSQL databases: MongoDB, Redis, CouchBB and others a plus* · *Experience with OLAP platforms: SSAS, TM1 and others a plus* *Samarth* *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *201 620 9700x125* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Vendors" group.
