We need a *Testing Lead *with strong *Workday HCM* experience for a 6+
month contract assignment with a major *Healthcare* client in *Irvine, CA*.



The job summary is listed in the table below.



This is an immediate need. *We would prefer candidates who are local to
Southern California and who can interview in-person….although a video
interview is a possibility*.



Also, the candidate needs to have experience as a *Functional Lead or
Testing Lead on a large scale Human Capital Management (HCM) implementation
project*.

Workday Testing Lead

Workday (preferred), PeopleSoft or similar large ERP systems for HR and
Payroll

1. Experience as a testing or
*Functional lead in large scale HCM implementation projects, preferably
Workday. *2. Knowledge of
*testing cycles for HCM, integrations and payroll (including payroll
parallel coordination) *3. Strong background in metrics reporting for
testing (progress, defects, resources, etc.)
4. Skilled at working with users across multiple locations in US and
coordinating status calls
5. Own Testing strategy with deep collaboration with workstream leads
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
7. Ability to work independently and in a team environment, skilled in
providing direction, guidance and planning for the testers
8. Lead data validation track for data converted from PS to Workday
8. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple
demands and thrive in a collaborative and fast paced environment
9. Ability to work and adapt to change quickly and accurately under
pressure and time constraints

1. Work closely with Workday Project Management team to manage test
schedule and lead testing teams
2. Communicate the test plan across project teams and coordinate all
resources to ensure successful execution
3. Ensure testing milestones, activities and tasks are communicated
properly and completed as scheduled
4. Monitor, measure, control and report on test progress, product quality
and test results
5. Ensure test data and environments are both available and appropriately
prepared for testing
6. Partner and consult with functional users and key stakeholders to define
and help validate test conditions and create test scripts
7. Assign work and direct test specialists in creation of test scenarios,
test cases, and requirement traceability
8. Review and provide feedback on the test artifacts developed by the test
specialists
9. Ability to step in and help when needed in test script creation,
execution, and/or validation
10. Responsible to drive all testing including parallel testing, system
testing, and UAT through the approved project testing tool
11. Review defects and determine whether or not Vendor is required to help
resolve the issue; they will subsequently inform the Project Manager who
will assign the issue to the appropriate resource for resolution
12. Review defects, provide status in the daily testing meetings, and
assign as appropriate
13. Identify, communicate, and track risks and issues associated with
testing
14. Collaborate with HRIS Director in coordinating HRIS activities on
inter-dependent projects as needed
