Position : DevOps Automation Engineer Location : Atlanta, Sandy Springs area
Duration : 6 month contracts Interview : Skype- Visa-USC/GC Responsibilities The DevOps Engineer will have a demonstrable, successful track record in a significant number of the following attributes: • Writing and deploying automation to maintain our deployments across multiple environments. • Linux administration (RHEL/OEL preferred) • Providing assistance to DEV and QA groups to include: participating in meetings, building out environments, troubleshooting deployment/configuration related problems • Ongoing maintenance of monitoring platforms • Creating and maintaining modules for a Config Management platform across multiple environments • Scripting ability (BASH, python, PHP) • Implemented and supported user-facing, large-scale, secure tech stacks on AWS; familiar with OpsWorks, S3, EC2, Route53, VPC, Salt/Chef/Puppet config management • Experience using, managing, or performing automation activities around the EMC Federation Hybrid Cloud solution • Worked in a cloud based environment long enough to understand how to appropriately manage PaaS/IaaS/SaaS and Agile environments • This candidates prime role is going to be to automate enterprise shared services through coding… Ideally 70% of this person’s work will be doing development and could vary • The ideal candidate should love coding and should be ready to think automation • Knowledge of network architecture and troubleshooting • Working knowledge of databases and SQL (experience with database replication is a plus) • Experience with continuous integration in a highly available production environment is desirable • Ability to interface with internal customers in order to consult on requirements and discuss solutions • Can leverage a team of individuals with varying skill sets in order to devise a wholistic solution • Willing to throw your ego out the window in order to collaborate with a team and arrive at the best possible solution for the organization • Passionate about automating and improving release and deployment processes • A strategic and innovative mindset - can engineer technical solutions as well as perform process engineering Qualifications • Understanding of virtualization concepts • Strong Linux administration experience • Ability to take vague requirements and apply vision and strategic direction in order to arrive at a final product • High level of attention to detail Desired Technologies (3-5 of these skills, in addition to Linux Administration required) • Linux administration and shell scripting • Ansible • Artifactory • Jenkins • SVN/Git • Apache • AWS/Azure/vCloud Air • Python/Perl/PHP/BASH • Chef/Puppet • EMC’s Federation Enterprise Hybrid Cloud solution experience -- Best Regards, Samarth Mishra [email protected] 201 620 9700x125 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Vendors" group.
