Candidates need to be able/willing to live in/near San Jose for this FTE
opportunity.

The Client is open to an initial 6 month C2H contract after
which successful candidates would transition to FTE as a Direct Hire.

The Sr. PS Programmer/Analyst develops specifications, architects system
designs and develops systems and technology-based solutions to meet user
needs including applications, databases and related systems.

*Responsibilities* of the Sr. Analyst Programmer include, but are not
limited to: • Bring in expert level skills to implement, maintain, support
and document complex application programs and procedures for Client's
PeopleSoft Student Administration, Human Resources, and Financial systems.

   - Lead the technical review and definition of business problems,
   including the preparation of technical requirements to support the Client's
   mission and systems;
   - Provide systems analysis leadership for appropriate user offices;
   - Provide systems and technical support of vendor and locally developed
   software.
   - Collaborate with the programming team on creating and documenting
   development, testing and deployment procedures for supporting Client's
   administrative applications.

*Required Skills:*

• A bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science or business, or
equivalent training and applied experience and five years of experience in
business applications analysis, design, and programming for medium or large
scale, multi-programmed computers.


   - Must have 5 + years of experience leading application development with
   People Code, Application Engine, Integration Broker, Component Interface
   and PeopleSoft web services.
   - 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting and testing
   Oracle/PeopleSoft applications and integrations.
   - 2+ years of experience with setting standards, creating and
   maintaining application architecture and design and leading technical teams
   in a supervisory role.
   - 3+ years of experience and strong knowledge of database design and
   development, SQL, Stored Procedures, and Triggers.
   - 3+ years of Experience in Higher Education Institution.
   - 3+ years of experience developing business requirements and leading
   systems analysis, design, and testing.
   - 2+ experience in architecting and developing applications using object
   oriented, industry standard programming languages, frameworks and
   environments (e.g. Apache, Tomcat, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, Eclipse,
   Subversion).
   - Experience using automated testing tools (e.g. Peoplesoft Testing
   Framework, SoapUI, jmeter, selenium). Interested parties must submit a
